Swing Set
My uni class just made this, we each got a 17 second section and had to piece together a music video with the theme 'the 1930s'.
Mine's the 2nd section, with the paper dolls.
Pretty proud of everyone to be honest. :)
My personal favourites are Callum's purple octopus and Julie's technicolor cinema.

Uffie Decides To Pop That Glock
"...bad ass bitch, I'm rated X,
I'm gifted, ain't gotta sell sex..."
Yes Uffie, you're gifted, that's why you've released a 2nd album and not just worked on a music video for your biggest hit from 3 years ago... That's why 2 of the first 3 shots in the video are: topless and crotch close-ups.
Oh well at least it's kicked up a storm on YouTube, which is now full of people complaining she's copying Lady Gaga and Ke$ha vs Ed Banger fans smuggly telling them to keep up. Before if you typed 'Pop The Glock' into YouTube you'd get 200 emos miming into webcams and the occasional geeky walkthrough to self-assembling glockenspiels.

Fonejacker 3D
Channel 4 has announced that this Christmas we can excitedly await a new 3rd series of Fonejacker. Fonejacker 3D!

This infact has nothing to do with this week's 3D setlist on Channel 4, don't worry we won't have to continue using these stupid glasses from Sainsburys. Instead, Kayvan Novak aka the voice of Fonejacker will be slapping on some prosthetics and wandering out upon the unsuspecting British public dressed as the likes of Terry Tibbs (right) or George Agdgdgwngo.
How this will work I have no idea! The comedy in Fonejacker as far as I'm concerned is the fact that he's on a phone, the victims can't see him, and we get to watch hilarious cartoons. So this could be terrible. It could be brilliant though, and I'll definitely be watching.

Poetry In Adverts
I am bloody sick of these bloody unimaginative adverts!!
In the UK right now, the TV channels are crawling with these upbeat montages of Britain using a smug poem as narrative. We've seen it from McDonald's, Bulmers cider, the Evening Standard newspaper, and now from Cathedral City cheddar.
I think what's most nauseating is watching massive capitalist companies try to brand themselves as 'one of us'. They're trying to celebrate all things British with a stereotyped perfectly diverse range of characters, but it just feels so fake. So cheesy (excuse the Cathedral City pun). Whereas the true British stereotype is one of extreme sarcasm and pessimism, as beautifully depicted in this parody...

Mock The Week Posse

To me, the Mock The Week posse is like Britain's answer to the Apatow crew. They are on fire.
If you've haven't already, catch Russell Howard's Good News on iPlayer. Great fun, a show really tailor-made for the Bristol comic.
The commisioners have gone mental with the Mock The Week crew in the last few years, the talent's just too hot. As well as the above, plus previous Dara O'Briain's Tough Gig, Outnumbered (Hugh Dennis) and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, there is the upcoming The Frankie Boyle Show and two more series of Mock The Week already given the greenlight!
Ps. Apologies for the awful image, that's not some shambolic graphic design I've done, it is believe it or not an album cover!

TidySongs.com
The thing that's so lovely about Apple Macs and iPods etc is the cleanliness of the design. Such efficiency and clarity. So it's pretty annoying when your beautiful iTunes gets all messy.
We've all got them. Fatboy Slim and FatBoy Slim as separate artists. Jay Z and Jay-Z. Oh and those blimming 'feat.' artists. Getting all up in my grill, gosh.
iPod's cover flow is designed to display the beautiful album artwork, but not all my tracks have the album covers. If you truly are a mac person inside and not a PC, this will annoy you, but don't fret.
In true mac smugness, let me introduce you to TidySongs. TidySongs will sort your iTunes out. For free. And it's not prejudiced like me, it'll help you on Windows or Mac. It's still got a wanky Mac style video to get you going, but at least it's not the bloody Windows launch party video.
